Day twenty-one. Ste. Chapelle, and a stroll along the Seine.

Day twenty. I used my brother-in-law's bike to go on a long ride to the southwest of Paris, through Sèvres, Meudon, and Issy.

We took a week-long vacation from our vacation, via the TGV to Avignon. We stayed in a little B&B called La Malle Poste, near Cavaillon.

Day seven! Not so sunny today, but I went out anyway. I like the roofline of Opera Garnier, the courtyard of Palais Royal, and giant spiral staircase under the Louvre's pyramid, and of course Arts et Métiers. And I walked through the Tuileries on the way home.

Day six! Including another Guimard Metro entrance, some nifty Metro platforms, Centre Pompidou, the Stravinsky Fountain, the circus district, and some shots near Notre Dame.

Day two. I slept until 2pm, did some errands, then went out walking from 7pm to midnight.

My first day in Paris. It was mostly cloudy and even rained once, but towards evening there was some nice sunshine. I walked from my sister's place near the Eiffel Tower all the way to Notre Dame, then took the Metro home.
