27jun2004 Paris
Day eighteen. My parents and I had a nice afternoon walk past the Eiffel Tower to the Tokyo and Rodin museums.

19-26jun2004 Luberon
We took a week-long vacation from our vacation, via the TGV to Avignon. We stayed in a little B&B called La Malle Poste, near Cavaillon.

18jun2004 Paris
Day nine. My nephew Leo took me out to Parc de la Villette today. It was cloudy, though, so I didn't get very many good pictures.

Day eight - l'Arene Lutece, le Jardin des Plantes, le Jardin de Sculpture en Plein Air, etc.

16jun2004 Paris Lights
My brother and I went out for an after-dark walk.

16jun2004 Paris
Day seven! Not so sunny today, but I went out anyway. I like the roofline of Opera Garnier, the courtyard of Palais Royal, and giant spiral staircase under the Louvre's pyramid, and of course Arts et Métiers. And I walked through the Tuileries on the way home.

15jun2004 Paris
Day six! Including another Guimard Metro entrance, some nifty Metro platforms, Centre Pompidou, the Stravinsky Fountain, the circus district, and some shots near Notre Dame.

14jun2004 Paris
Day five - the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre.

13jun2004 Paris
Day four. Morning; the farmer's market under the Metro line at La Motte-Piquet Grenelle. Afternoon: the Catacombs, and the Jardin du Luxembourg.

12jun2004 Paris
Reduced activity today. We did walk to Parc André Citröen.

11jun2004 Paris
Day two. I slept until 2pm, did some errands, then went out walking from 7pm to midnight.

10jun2004 Paris
My first day in Paris. It was mostly cloudy and even rained once, but towards evening there was some nice sunshine. I walked from my sister's place near the Eiffel Tower all the way to Notre Dame, then took the Metro home.

09jun2004 To Paris
I am off on a trip to France. Object: take a lot of pictures!

07jun2004 SF South
My first expedition with my new camera, a Panasonic DMC-FZ10. I rode from the Mission south to San Bruno.

30may2004 Bay St. Fair
The Bay Street Mall in Emeryville had a little arts & crafts & music & food fair.

28may2004 Critical Mass
